Monaime (“Monaime”, “we”, “us”) is a personal finance assistant that lets you track spending, budgets, wallets, goals and debts through natural conversation. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
| Category | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email address and Apple ID identifier (Sign in with Apple) | Create and secure your account |
| Financial data | Transactions, wallets, budgets, goals, categories and amounts you enter | Core functionality of the app |
| Contacts (optional) | Names you select for debt tracking | Only used when you add a debt; never uploaded in bulk |
| Voice input | Short audio recordings you make | Transcribed to text so you can add records by voice |
| Photos | Receipt and bank-screenshot images you choose to scan | Extract transaction details from the image |
| Device identifier | Push notification token | Deliver notifications you enable |
| Purchases | Subscription status and history | Provide and restore your Monaime Pro subscription |
To understand your messages, voice and images, your input is sent to third-party AI providers that convert it into structured financial records. We send only what is needed for that task, and we do not use your financial data to train advertising profiles. We do not sell your personal data.
Monaime does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not use third-party advertising. No App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown because we do not track.
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service:
Each processor handles data only to provide their part of the service, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Your data is stored on secured servers and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access is restricted to what is required to operate the service. A copy of your data is also stored locally on your device so the app works offline.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your associated data is deleted from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal or accounting obligations.
Monaime is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app.
